Coaches
Elena
Elena is the skating director of Wisconsin Edge. Elena has over 15 years of coaching experience and was a former Team USA Synchronized Skater. In addition, Elena is a US Figure Skating Technical Specialist in Synchronized Skating which gives Wisconsin Edge teams an advantage in understanding technical rules and calls within the IJS judging system.
Kayla
Kayla has been with Wisconsin Edge since 2019 and has been coaching for over 9 years. She has been instrumental in the growth and success of the program. Kayla was part of a Junior team that earned a Team USA placement for the following year. Kayla is also a Physical Therapist and has a wealth of knowledge in training and injury prevention and rehabilitation.
Rachael
Rachael has been coaching with Edge since 2018. Rachael has over 11 years of coaching experience and has been instrumental to the growth and success of the program. Rachael was part of a Junior team that earned Team USA placement for the following year. Rachael is also an Oncology Registered Nurse and brings a wealth of knowledge to WI Edge.
Erin
Erin has been coaching with Wisconsin Edge since the 2021. She is a former Team USA synchronized skater earning medals for Team USA internationally and medals at US Synchronized Skating Championships. She has been instrumental in growing our Aspire program.
Henry
Henry started coaching with Wisconsin Edge during the 2023-2024 Season. Henry was a Wisconsin Edge Skater growing up and also was a singles skater, where he qualified for the US Figure Skating Sectional Championship Final.
Maura
Maura started coaching with Wisconsin Edge during the 2024-2025 season with our Adult and Open Masters Teams. As a skater, Maura was on the Senior Varsity Team at Miami University representing Team USA and along with her team earned a World Synchronized Skating Championship appearance. Before that, Maura skated for Wisconsin Edge. Maura is currently studying to become a physical therapist.
Angie
Angie has been coaching for over 25 years. Angie is the former director of Wisconsin Edge. She has been instrumental in assisting the Adult team for the past 2 seasons.
